Job summary

Oxford High School GDST is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to provide specialist 1:1 EHCP support and general classroom assistance in a 12-month fixed term contract in Oxford.

The role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to help the pupil access learning, meet targets, and develop confidence and independence while contributing to broader classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in an educational setting with SEND knowledge.
• Understanding of EHCP provision and related support strategies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil in line with their EHCP and targets.
• Deliver interventions and support programmes per external recommendations.
• Monitor and record progress to inform planning and assessment.
