Job summary

Term Time Teachers is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 11-19 in a specialist setting. You will support delivery of IEPs, assist with learning and social development, and help create a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

A patient, empathetic communicator with a collaborative mindset is essential; Enhanced DBS clearance is required or willingness to obtain one, and a valid driving licence is mandatory.

The Role

• Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, fostering learning and independence.
• Assist with classroom management and create a calm, supportive environment.
• Prepare tailored resources and support communication and social skills development.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, staff, therapists, and families.
