Job summary

Randstad Education in Guildford is seeking a dedicated full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN and SEMH, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop confidence.

This term-time role offers reliable, consistent hours and a September start. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist with IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with teaching staff in a rural school environment.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 months of experience working in a school setting or supporting individuals with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Must be available for full-time hours for the entire academic year starting in September.
  • Must be a licensed driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location and limited public transport links.
  • Patient, resilient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • A successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Job description

Salary: £88 - £97 per day - This is a temporary / temporary to permanent role after a probation period
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 03:55 PM, Full time and term time - full academic year with a September start.

We are looking for a committed, full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to offer vital academic, social, and emotional assistance to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, enabling them to safely engage with the curriculum and flourish in their learning and growth.

We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
