Job summary

Pertemps Education Network in Bracknell is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs. You will work 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum and help with speech, language and social skills development.

You will collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials, promote wellbeing and safeguarding, and reinforce positive behaviour. No previous experience required; full training and ongoing support provided.

Job description

Location: Bracknell

Contract: Full-time or part-time, term-time only

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4pm

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £88-£115 per day

About the School

We are a friendly, inclusive Bracknell school committed to providing high-quality education for children with special educational needs (SEN). Our pupils have a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and learning disabilities.

Your Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum.

  • Help children build confidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials and lessons.
