The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, especially ASD, and a calm, proactive approach with strong communication skills. The position is term-time, full-time, with ongoing professional development and DBS checks provided.

About the Role

Teaching Personnel is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school in the Bracknell area. This rewarding role involves providing targeted support to pupils, with a particular focus on working 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping the pupil engage with learning, manage behavioural challenges, and build confidence within the classroom setting. Key Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs, ensuring access to the curriculum.
• Support the pupil in managing behaviour and maintaining focus during lessons.

• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly ASD (essential).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of the pupil and school environment.
