Job summary

Education Authority is seeking a committed individual to assist with educational support and pupil care for students with special educational needs. You will work under the direction of teachers and Education Authority officers to support pupils both in and out of the classroom.

Primary duties include assisting with SEN programmes, promoting independence, managing learning environments, and aiding with administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom support for pupils with special educational needs
• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and daily care tasks
• Contribute to inclusion of pupils in mainstream settings
• Assist with administrative tasks and recording pupil progress
• Attend relevant training and support staff as required
