Job summary

Sulzer GT Aero in Netherley, Aberdeenshire, seeks a Spares & Repairs Coordinator to handle customer spare parts and component repairs, liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to process enquiries, prepare quotations, and progress orders from inquiry to completion.

The role supports end-to-end service delivery across ERP/CRM systems, contributing to tender activities and reporting on lead times and performance, with a focus on accuracy, customer service, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in spares, repairs or coordination roles within an engineering or industrial environment.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems (Dynamics 365 and Salesforce desirable).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with quotations, pricing and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for customer spares and repairs enquiries, responding promptly and professionally.
• Review customer requirements with internal teams and external suppliers to confirm feasibility, lead times and costs.
• Prepare accurate quotations for spares and repairs and issue them to customers.
• Coordinate orders from receipt through to completion, liaising with internal departments, suppliers and customers.
• Provide regular updates to customers and track order status and repair activities.
• Maintain records in ERP and CRM systems to support reporting on lead times and performance.
• Assist with sales and tender activities and prepare information for opportunities.
