Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is offering an undergraduate internship in the Mechanical Analysis team in Stevenage for 12 months. The role focuses on developing analysis tools and performing mechanical analyses to support space hardware projects, with flexibility in hours.

Applicants must be undergraduates for the entire placement, pursuing Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace engineering, and capable of demonstrating fundamentals of structural analysis and engineering calculations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student for the full duration of the placement.
• Studying towards a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering (2:1 or above).
• Knowledge of structural analysis and mechanical simulation software is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Some programming skills would be a plus.
