Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage offers a 12-month internship focused on process development for tool deployment, digital transformation, and lean workflows. The placement targets undergraduates in Mechanical Engineering with exposure to CAD/CAM tools and some programming knowledge; flexible hours and hybrid options

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student for the full placement duration.
• Ideally pursuing Mechanical Engineering; familiarity with CAD/CAM and Dassault tools.
• Some programming skills (VB, VB.net, PHP, MySQL, C#).

Responsibilities

• Specify, develop, and document process changes for deploying new toolsets.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve workflows.
• Support digital transformation and end-to-end process optimization.
• Prepare final report outlining findings and impact.
