Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited invites applications for a 12‑month Internship in Stevenage. You will support the Project Management Team on spacecraft antenna projects, gaining hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end aerospace programme management.

The role is based in Stevenage with hybrid working options, requires studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Physics or Business, and offers a starting salary of £24,500 for a 37‑hour week.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics, Business or equivalent.
• Interest in Engineering, Aerospace and Space.
• Experience with engineering projects either in university or in a work experience setting.
• Teamwork, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the project management team in day‑to‑day coordination, including tracking project scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
• Contributing to the preparation of customer‑facing reviews and essential project communications.
• Developing a foundational understanding of project management principles, risk management, and supply chain coordination within an aerospace context.
• Collaborating effectively within diverse, multi‑disciplinary teams to drive project progress.
• Utilizing industry‑standard tools (including Google Suite and Microsoft Office) to prepare high‑quality presentations, reports, and documentation.
