Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is offering an undergraduate internship in Stevenage to support the Thermal Analysis & Space Physics team. You will assist in broadening knowledge of thermal engineering, contribute to analysis and testing campaigns, and gain hands-on experience with modeling, sizing, and design trade-offs.

The role requires you to be an undergraduate for the duration, with a CV and Cover Letter detailing motivation and suitability.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement; graduation date should be informed on application.
• CV and Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability must be included.

Responsibilities

• Broaden knowledge and experience in thermal engineering, supporting analysis and testing campaigns.
• Support a lead thermal engineer to build and maintain thermal models to customer requirements.
• Develop tools and analysis techniques to improve department efficiency.
• Gain experience with Microsoft Excel, Python, and dedicated thermal/software tools for design and analysis.
