Job summary

Hastings Hotels in Northern Ireland is seeking a reliable Spa Therapist for the Culloden Estate & Spa. This part-time role offers 28 hours per week across Friday to Monday, with development opportunities and staff benefits.

Deliver high-quality spa treatments, maintain room standards, and work with a professional team to meet 5-star service expectations. NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• To deliver spa treatments to required standards while maintaining guest dignity.
• Provide the highest standard of service to guests, aligning with a 5-star hotel expectation.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are used correctly and report issues promptly.
• Maintain presentation of treatment and prep rooms to Hastings standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a harmonious workplace with respect and dignity.
• Keep stock areas secure and report any breaches immediately.
• Comply with health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Address guest concerns courteously and efficiently, escalating as needed to supervisor/manager on duty.
• Perform any other duties as required by management.

Under the leadership of our Spa Manager, Niamh Rice, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

This is a part-time position offering four days per week (28-hours excluding breaks), working Friday through to Monday.

About the role

To be responsible for carrying out Spa treatments for the greatest enjoyment of guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel.

• To deliver treatments to required standards, maintaining the dignity of guests at all times.

• To provide the highest standard of service to guests, ensuring the expectations of a 5-star Hotel are met.

• To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.

• To maintain the presentation of the treatment and preparation rooms in accordance with Hastings standards.

• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.

• To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.

• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

• To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.

• Any other duties as required by management.
