Hastings Hotels invites applications for a Personal Trainer to join the Healthclub at Culloden Estate & Spa. This full-time role is based on 35 hours per week across five shifts out of seven, including weekends.

You will deliver engaging fitness classes and tailor training sessions for guests and visitors, driving enjoyment and revenue. We value flexibility, client-focused service, and the ability to work with colleagues to uphold Hastings standards.

Formación

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Fitness Instructing.
• Exceptional communication skills and rapport with clients.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to work as part of a team under pressure.

• Deliver fitness instruction and guidance for guests' enjoyment and hotel profit.

This full-time position is based on 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. The successful candidate should have a flexible approach to working hours to cover the variety of classes and PT sessions offered to our clients and guests.

About the role

To be responsible for delivering fitness instruction and guidance for the greatest enjoyment of guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel.

• To conduct various exercise classes and fitness assessments.




• To provide a range of leisure pursuits within your competancy to maximise customer expectations.




• To provide the highest standards of service to guests, ensuring all guests needs and expectations are met.




• To ensure all equipment and materials are used in correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.




• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.




• To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.




• To maintain the presentation of the Spa & Healthclub in accordance with Hastings standards.




• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.




• To ensure that guest concerns, complaints or difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Manager on duty.




• To ensure all guest enquires are handled efficiently and effectively.




• To assist with monitoring and maintenance of leisure plant, fixtures and facilities.




• Any other duties as required by management.

Required Criteria

• A right to work within the United Kingdom


• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Fitness Instructing


• Exceptional communication skills


• Excellent ability to build rapport and develop relationships with clients


• Ability to work well under pressure and be a team player

Desired Criteria

• Educated to GCSE standard or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths


• Previous experience in a high-quality fitness establishment
