Job summary

Hastings Hotels is seeking a reliable Spa Therapist to join the Spa & Health Club Team at Culloden Estate & Spa in Northern Ireland. The role is part-time (28 hours across Friday to Monday) with staff meals, discounts, and career progression opportunities.

Under the Spa Manager, you will deliver treatments to a 5-star standard, maintain room presentation, and work collaboratively with colleagues while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
• NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver spa treatments to required standards and guest dignity.
• Provide 5-star service to meet guest expectations.
• Ensure equipment and materials are used correctly and report issues.
• Maintain presentation of treatment and prep rooms to Hastings standards.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a respectful, supportive environment.
• Maintain stock area security and report breaches.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Address guest concerns politely and efficiently, escalating when needed.
• Fulfil other duties as required by management.

This is a part-time position offering four days per week (28-hours excluding breaks), working Friday through to Monday.

About the role

To be responsible for carrying out Spa treatments for the greatest enjoyment of guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel.

• To deliver treatments to required standards, maintaining the dignity of guests at all times.

• To provide the highest standard of service to guests, ensuring the expectations of a 5-star Hotel are met.

• To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.

• To maintain the presentation of the treatment and preparation rooms in accordance with Hastings standards.

• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.

• To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.

• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

• To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.

• Any other duties as required by management.
