Job summary

Budock Vean Hotel in Cornwall is seeking a dedicated spa therapist to join our luxury spa team. You will deliver treatments with care, ensuring guest comfort and a five-star experience.

You will promote spa services, contribute to retail sales, and maintain pristine treatment rooms while adhering to health and safety standards. The role offers training and career growth within a picturesque setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa or hospitality environments preferred.
• Strong emphasis on guest service and cleanliness.
• Ability to promote and upsell spa services and products.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards in a spa setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments to a high standard within allocated time.
• Maintain spotless treatment rooms and public areas per spa checklist.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Monitor stock in the treatment room and control costs.
• Coordinate scheduling to meet guest demand and maximize revenue.
• Participate in ongoing training and audits.
• Handle guest feedback professionally in line with hotel policy.

The advertised rate is applicable to hours worked on weekdays (Monday - Friday), an additional £2 per hour will be applied to hours worked on weekends (Saturday & Sunday)Spa opening hours run from 9.30am - 6pm each day, working hours will be 9am - 6pm.

Role & Responsibilities

• To provide a level of service which exceeds all guest expectations by completing all treatments in a consistently thorough manner, in the time allocated, and by treating all clients with individual attention.

• To ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standards
• Promote and sell the services of the Spa and Salon and maximise the potential of all sales.
• To work towards retail sales and retail % targets set.
• To ensure treatment rooms and all public areas are kept clean and tidy according to Spa check list and health and safety standards – maintaining the five star level of cleanliness
• Responsible for maintaining an effective stock control system in your treatment room
• Monitor the cost of product and correct usage of the products in treatments
• Ensure that treatment scheduling meets the demands of the guest whilst maximising revenue and trends are monitored and addressed.
• To participate in on‑going training programs / Review Audits.
• To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally as in accordance with hotel policy
