Job summary

Celtic Manor Resort in Newport is seeking a Spa Receptionist on a maternity cover contract. You will be the friendly face at the Spa reception, handling guest check-in, calls and retail enquiries, while delivering high standards of service.

The role is 22.5 hours over three days per week at £12.72 per hour, with access to company benefits and staff facilities. Join our award-winning Spa team in the iconic Celtic Manor Resort.

Qualifications

• Secretarial/administrative qualifications or experience of more than two years
• Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook
• Experience in delivering administrative, operational and secretarial support including stock takes and retail trackers

Responsibilities

• Escalate complaints to Spa Manager with full details
• Maintain guest feedback trackers across Spa and Leisure teams
• Stay up-to-date with Resort facilities, services and events
• Organise and maintain an effective departmental filing system for senior management
• Manage supplies, store requisitions and purchase requests

OUR IDEALHERO WILL HAVE -

• Secretarial/administrative qualifications or experience of more than two years


• Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook


• Experience in delivering administrative, operational and secretarial support including stock takes and retail trackers

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL -

• Be responsible for escalating any complaints to the Spa Manager immediately, providing full details


• Be responsible for feedback trackers with guest feedback and collating responses from the Spa and Leisure teams


• Have a full and up-to-date knowledge of the Resort facilities, services, and events


• Organise, improve and maintain an effective departmental filing system, ensuring information is easily accessible to the senior management team


• Maintain and update records, print reports and actively seek ways to ensure the system is used to its maximum, to provide accurate information which supports the objectives of the Resort and the department


• Ensure the department has adequate supplies to run effectively, anticipate needs, and deal with store requisitions and purchase requests
