Job summary

The Celtic Collection is seeking a Spa Receptionist for maternity cover at our Celtic Manor Resort in Newport. You will provide administrative support within the Spa team, handle guest enquiries, and assist with daily operations to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of secretarial/admin experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, and the ability to manage filing, stock takes, and retail trackers while maintaining guest focus.

Qualifications

• Secretarial or administrative experience of 2+ years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience delivering admin, operational and secretarial support including stock takes and retail trackers.

Responsibilities

• Escalate complaints to the Spa Manager with full details.
• Maintain feedback trackers and collate responses from Spa and Leisure teams.
• Know resort facilities, services and events to assist guests.
• Organise and maintain an effective departmental filing system for easy access by senior management.
• Ensure records are updated, reports printed, and information supports resort objectives.
• Ensure adequate supplies and manage store requisitions and purchases.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE -

• Secretarial/administrative qualifications or experience of more than two years
• Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook
• Experience in delivering administrative, operational and secretarial support including stock takes and retail trackers

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL -

• Be responsible for escalating any complaints to the Spa Manager immediately, providing full details
• Be responsible for feedback trackers with guest feedback and collating responses from the Spa and Leisure teams
• Have a full and up-to-date knowledge of the Resort facilities, services, and events
• Organise, improve and maintain an effective departmental filing system, ensuring information is easily accessible to the senior management team
• Maintain and update records, print reports and actively seek ways to ensure the system is used to its maximum, to provide accurate information which supports the objectives of the Resort and the department
• Ensure the department has adequate supplies to run effectively, anticipate needs, and deal with store requisitions and purchase requests
