Job summary

Estelle Manor is seeking a Spa Receptionist to manage the member and guest journey at Eynsham Baths. You will handle initial enquiries, book personalised treatments with therapists, welcome guests on arrival, and process payments to support a luxurious spa experience.

The ideal candidate will have reception experience, a passion for wellness, the ability to work under pressure, and strong communication and tech skills, including booking systems.

• Previous experience working within a reception setting.
• Passionate about wellness and wellbeing.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable using computer systems and handling phone calls; booking experience preferred.
• Strong communication with colleagues, management, members and guests.

Responsibilities

Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace. As the countryside companion to Maison Estelle, the manor is also a ‘hosted home’, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove.

As a Spa Receptionist you will lead the member and guest journey at Eynsham Baths through assisting with initial enquiries, booking personalised treatments with the appropriate therapist, welcoming upon arrival, processing payments and supporting throughout their time in the Spa. You will ensure a luxurious guest experience is carried out as a standard, always striving to provide a personalised and exceptional member experience.

Who we are looking for:

• Previous experience working within a reception setting.
• Passionate about wellness. We want you to bring and share your knowledge to help others improve their wellbeing and be interested and passionate about learning more in this ever evolving industry.
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines.
• Confident computer user, efficient and friendly telephone manner, ideally confident in utilising booking systems to support with reservations.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests.

The on target earning potential for this role is £33,804.80 per annum per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £30,804.80, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly at £14.81 so this is a projected salary and OTE.

About gratuities & service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
• It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £3,000 in addition to their annual salary.
