Job summary

Champneys is recruiting a part-time front desk receptionist at our Buxton Spa property. You will greet guests, check them in, register them, and offer a tour when appropriate. You will also assist with bookings for treatments, personal training, and itineraries, drawing on in-depth knowledge of the spa, wellbeing, and fitness offerings.

The role emphasizes delivering a high standard of guest service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring smooth operations across the resort.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and a warm, welcoming manner.
• Good knowledge of spa, wellbeing and fitness offerings.
• Ability to assist with treatment bookings and itineraries.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and manage check-in procedures and registrations.
• Provide knowledge of the resort and assist with bookings and tours where appropriate.
• Conduct facility show rounds to potential new members and explain welcome packs.

Contract: Part Time
Salary: up to £12.71 per hour

24 hours per week

We only have one opportunity to create a first impression, make sure it counts. Our reception colleagues are knowledge resources and as such have an in-depth knowledge of the Spa, Wellbeing and Fitness operation as well as the property and the local area.

Some responsbilities include;

• Greeting guests with a warm welcome and ensuring the courteous and efficient process of checking-in, completing the correct registration procedure including offering a tour where appropriate and explaining the welcome pack / itinerary.
• Having a full and comprehensive knowledge of resort suite and being able to support with treatment bookings, PT sessions and completing itineraries.
• Conducting facility show rounds where required to potential new members.
