Job summary

Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire is seeking a proactive Spa & Wellness Assistant to support spa therapists with room setup and guest care from arrival to departure.

Role includes assisting reception with check-in/out, handling payments for retail and refreshments, and maintaining towels, robes and laundry. A hands-on, courteous approach and a passion for spa and beauty therapy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support spa therapists with daily set up of treatment rooms and clear down, ensuring rooms have the right equipment
• Maintain towels, robes and slippers and ensure availability across changing rooms and laundry area
• Ensure guest needs are met from arrival to departure
• Assist Three Graces reception with guest meet and greet, spa orientation, check in/out, and retail/refreshment payments
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach and drive standards
• Be passionate about Spa & Beauty Therapy and maintain a positive attitude
• Use initiative and willingness to go above and beyond for guests and team
• Communicate effectively and remain friendly, courteous and helpful

Job description

• Support the Spa Therapists with the daily set up of treatment rooms and clear down, ensuring all the rooms are set up with the right equipment
• Maintain an adequate provision of towels, robes and slippers and ensuring they are available in the Three Graces and Elite Wellness changing rooms, pools side and the used towel drops are regularly emptied and used laundry taken to the in-house laundry
• Ensure that guest needs are met and that they are looked after from the minute they arrive to their departure
• Assist the Three Graces reception team with guest meet and greet, spa orientation, day spa check in and out, taking payment for retail and refreshments taken, alongside internal customer enquiries on treatment availability and bookings
  Hands on approach to work, always being productive and looking to improve
