West Fraser is seeking a driven Business Development Manager for the Southwest England region. You will identify opportunities across the construction sector and convert them into profitable sales by building strong relationships with builders' merchants, housebuilders, contractors, and other professionals.

Based at a site in the Southwest region, you will manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, present proposals and negotiate agreements, while maintaining an active CRM pipeline and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, field sales or account management in construction or related industry.
• Track record of winning new business and hitting sales targets.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills; able to travel UK region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the construction sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with merchants, housebuilders, contractors, developers, and specifiers.
• Manage sales opportunities from prospecting to conversion.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product solutions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and secure profitable business.
• Maintain active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Represent the business at meetings, site visits and industry events.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity for growth.
