Job summary

Insider Media is seeking a seasoned Business Development Consultant to grow the South West territory from a Bristol base. You will engage senior decision-makers across banks, financial services, legal and professional services to develop integrated partnerships beyond traditional advertising.

This commercially demanding role requires building a robust pipeline, managing end-to-end sales, and collaborating with editorial and events teams to take new products to market.

Qualifications

• Proven success in B2B sales and business development
• Experience with media, events or sponsorship is beneficial
• Ability to build credibility with senior executives and board-level decision-makers
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop credible relationships with senior executives and board-level decision-makers
• Lead thoughtful, commercially focused meetings and negotiations
• Grow revenue from existing relationships and create a strong new-business pipeline
• Develop persuasive multi-channel proposals and manage end-to-end sales process
• Work with editorial, events and commercial teams to identify opportunities and market new products
• Maintain accountability for targets and pipeline with regular performance reviews
