Job summary

Lucy Electric UK is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - South to lead sales of the full Lucy Electric product range across a southern UK territory, with a home-based, field-facing role.

You will manage key accounts, drive new business with DNOs/IDNOs, EPCs and consultants, and lead a small sales engineering team to meet ambitious targets. The role centers on techno-commercial selling, tendering support, and close collaboration with Tendering, Contracts and UK Sales Office.

Qualifications

• Experience selling package substations and primary MV switchgear to UK DNOs, EPCs, ICPs, IDNOs.
• Proven engineering sales/business development experience.
• Experience handling multiple large-scale bids concurrently.
• Experience managing contracts/framework agreements.
• Knowledge of low and medium voltage switchgear and automation systems.
• Current UK driving licence.
• Desirable: prior people management experience or engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales for Lucy Electric’s full product range into a defined UK territory.
• Achieve/exceed budgeted sales targets and maximise profitability.
• Develop and execute plans for existing and new customers/sectors.
• Provide key account management and drive new business with ICPs/IDNOs.
• Lead Sales Engineers in the territory and coordinate with UK Sales Office.
• Prepare budgets, pricing info, proposals and tenders with colleagues.
• Produce monthly sales forecasts and management reports.
• Develop techno-commercial knowledge to outpace competition.
