Job summary

Lithia UK is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the South of England. The role is field-based with regular travel, including attendance at our Head Office in Annesley once a month.

You will manage a small portfolio of existing customers while actively generating new business opportunities and closing deals in a hands-on capacity. You will build key client relationships, analyze sales data, and ensure superior service by coordinating with the rental operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle rental sales or similar B2B sales is preferred.
• Ability to generate and close new business opportunities in a field-based role.
• Strong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual turnover, margin and rental days targets.
• Build relationships to ensure smooth service for each client.
• Collaborate with rental operations to deliver excellent customer service.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prospect, convert and maximize sales with new customers.
• Provide market and competitor feedback.
• Maintain CRM with all customer activity and prospects.
