Redkite Engineering Recruitment is representing a global manufacturer of industrial connectivity solutions hiring a Regional Development Manager to cover the South of England. The role focuses on growing sales across the region, managing existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

You will work with engineers, buyers and senior decision makers, build strategic accounts and plan own territory visits.

Qualifications

• Background in industrial sales, ideally within electrical, automation, connectivity or a related technical market.
• Experience with manufacturer or specialist industrial/electrical distributor.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales across the South of England.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Work with industrial customers and specialist distributors.
• Build relationships with engineers, buyers and senior decision-makers.
• Develop larger strategic accounts and project opportunities.
• Prepare commercial quotations and manage opportunities through to completion.
• Work closely with internal application engineers on technical requirements.
• Plan and manage your own territory and customer visits.
• Attend relevant exhibitions and industry events.
