Job summary

Envipco is expanding its UK operations and seeks a Field Service Manager to lead a growing regional team in the South East. You will start hands-on, installing and commissioning pilot machines, then transition to overseeing engineers, service delivery, costs and safety.

You will report to the National Operations Manager for the UK & Ireland, balancing technical execution with people management and customer satisfaction in a dynamic recycling technology environment.

Qualifications

• Strong electro-mechanical engineering skills including installation, maintenance and diagnostics.
• Experience in field service and leading engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating service across multiple sites.
• Understanding of service level agreements, workforce planning and performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and fault-find on pilot machines.
• Manage regional installations, preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Coordinate with Service Centre to prioritise jobs and engineers.
• Plan resources, workloads and routes for regional coverage.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of engineers.
• Lead engineers through coaching and performance reviews.
• Monitor first-time fixes, response times and productivity.
• Maintain safety, risk assessments and method statements.
• Control regional costs and ensure accurate service records.
• Resolve customer escalations and improve processes.
