Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse Limited is seeking a Sous Chef for The Dockhouse, a vibrant pub on the Brent riverside. You will join a warm, supportive kitchen team and help deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a busy, all-day operation.

The role offers £15.30 per hour with tips, a 60% meals-on-shift discount, free chef uniform and kitchen shoes, and development opportunities toward Head Chef, including Level 3 apprenticeship options.

Qualifications

• An organised chef with supervisory experience who can run service when needed.
• Confident with a range of cooking techniques and equipment.
• On top of food safety and allergen rules.
• A motivating, supportive team player who helps others grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead service in absence of Head Chef and ensure smooth kitchen operation.
• Maintain high standards of cooking and presentation per central specs.
• Uphold food safety, allergen controls and hygiene throughout service.
