Harvester Gravesend is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food and developing people. You will run a kitchen section, lead your team and step up to support the Head Chef in their absence. You’ll work on our branded menu, manage food ordering and stock, ensure hygiene standards, and help the team deliver meals that make guests smile.

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching of kitchen staff.
• Ability to train and develop team members.
• Experience with stock control and ordering processes.
• Proficiency in food preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen.
• Experience working with branded menus and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
