Job summary

Fuller’s in Bridport is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is away, crafting fresh dishes from seasonal, local ingredients.

You will inspire the kitchen team, uphold high hygiene and food safety standards, and deliver excellent service for guests in our 16th-century coaching inn near the Jurassic coast.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification and good food knowledge are essential.
• Excellent food safety awareness is required for this role.
• Ability to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients and lead a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy to Head Chef and take control of the kitchen when they are away.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to produce high-quality dishes.
• Ensure consistency, hygiene and food safety across all services.
