Job summary

The Lyttelton Arms, part of Premium Country Pubs under Mitchells & Butler PLC, is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food and training teams. You’ll run a section and lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, driving a cohesive, high-quality operation.

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Strong food preparation and health & safety knowledge.
• Able to work flexible shifts.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
