Job summary

Longbridge Mill, part of Mitchells & Butler’s Vintage Inns, is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food, developing people and making guests smile. You’ll run a section and lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring the kitchen works as one.

Qualifications

• Team leadership and people development required.
• Knowledge of food safety/HACCP practices beneficial.
• Experience with stock control and ordering processes recommended.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Lead a kitchen section and ensure adherence to branded menu standards.
• Oversee health and hygiene regulations within the team.
• Mentor chefs and kitchen staff to meet targets and quality.

As a Sous Chef atthe Longbridge Mill, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
