Job summary

The Plough, part of Premium Country Pubs and Mitchells & Butlers, is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food and developing people. You will lead a section, train your team, and stand in for the Head Chef when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or senior cook in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to lead and train a kitchen team.
• Experience managing stock, orders, and budgets.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef atthe Plough, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
