Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our bustling kitchen team. You’ll lead by example, ensuring hot, quality food reaches the pass on every shift and stepping in for the Head Chef when needed.

You’ll work hands-on on the line, manage the kitchen during service, and help develop the team’s skills while maintaining the highest standards of food and service. Flexible hours and part-time options are available to fit family or study commitments.

Qualifications

• Branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Support Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Carry responsibility for running the line during service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team – helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.
