Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our pub kitchen and lead by example. You’ll be at the heart of the action, assisting the Head Chef and running the line during service to ensure fast, high-quality dishes reach the pass every time.

You’ll oversee and develop the kitchen team, maintain top standards of food and service, and bring passion to every shift. A supportive career pathway and strong benefits await in a lively pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef is desirable.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise and develop the kitchen team.
• Maintain the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in the kitchen as second in command to the Head Chef.
• Cover the Head Chef when they’re off shift.
• Run the line during busy service periods.
• Support the team to deliver quality dishes on time.
