Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. You’ll be right in the action in the kitchen, second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up when they’re off shift and ensuring top-quality food is presented to the pass every time.

You’ll oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team, helping to develop their skills while maintaining the highest standards of food and service. A strong passion for excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth kitchen operation.
• Support Head Chef in daily kitchen management and training of staff.
