Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team, stepping in as second in command to the Head Chef and ensuring hot, quality food that you and the team can be proud of gets presented to the pass each and every time.

You’ll lead the line during service, support the Head Chef in all aspects of running the kitchen, and help develop the team while upholding high standards of food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar branded kitchen role or as a Commis Chef.
• Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Passion for maintaining high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service
