Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team in a lively pub kitchen. You’ll be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up when they’re off shift.

You’ll assist in managing all aspects of the kitchen, run the line during service, and drive a team-focused approach to maintain top-quality food and service, with opportunities to advance through our career pathway.

Qualifications

• Branded experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Ability to run the line during service and support Head Chef.
• Passion for maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to Head Chef – stepping up when they’re not on shift.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team, helping to develop their skills.
