Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team in the UK. You’ll be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up and covering for them on shift.

You’ll bring branded kitchen experience or as an experienced Commis Chef, assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen, run the line during service, and lead the team to maintain the highest standards of food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in branded kitchen environments or similar roles.
• Ability to run the kitchen line during service.
• Support Head Chef and manage kitchen operations.
• Passion for maintaining high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service
