Job summary

Marston’s PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll be second in command to the Head Chef, ensuring hot, high-quality food is presented to the pass each time and stepping up when the Head Chef is away.

You’ll help manage the kitchen, run the line during service, develop the team and uphold the highest standards of food and service within a friendly, people-focused pub company.

Qualifications

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
