Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up when they’re not on shift and delivering hot, quality food to the pass.

You’ll run the line during service, support the Head Chef in all kitchen aspects, oversee and develop the team, and uphold the highest standards of food and service. A passionate attitude and prior branded experience are valued at Marston’s.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as Commis Chef is desirable.
• Support Head Chef in kitchen management and operation.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee and encourage the kitchen team to develop skills.
• Commitment to high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in action in the kitchen as second in command and cover for Head Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team and skills development.
