Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our bustling pub kitchen. You’ll be the second in command to the Head Chef, taking charge when they’re away and ensuring every service runs smoothly with hot, high‑quality meals presented to the pass.

You'll lead by example, guide the kitchen team, and help maintain the highest standards of food and service while benefiting from the supportive Marston’s culture and career pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branded kitchen or similar role such as a Commis Chef.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service and maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in the kitchen, second in command to the Head Chef.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team and help develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.
