Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and lead by example on the pass. You’ll be second in command to the Head Chef, stepping in when they’re off shift and taking ownership of the line during service.

You’ll help manage all aspects of the kitchen, develop the team, and uphold the highest standards of food and service. This role offers reliable hours and opportunities for progression within a supportive pub company family.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service
