Job summary

Marston’s pubs are looking for a motivated Sous Chef to join our team. You’ll be second in command to the Head Chef, actively leading the kitchen during service and ensuring hot, high-quality dishes are delivered to the pass.

You’ll have branded experience or as a Commis Chef, with the opportunity to progress through our career pathway. We offer a reliable hours contract, flexible/part-time options, and a wide range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.
