Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team in one of our award-winning pubs. You’ll be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up and covering shifts as needed while maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

You will oversee and support the kitchen team, run the line during busy services, and contribute to developing your colleagues’ skills. A supportive career pathway and benefits are on offer as you grow with Marston’s.

Qualifications

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in our kitchen as second in command to the Head Chef.
• Cover the Head Chef when they’re off shift.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth operation.
