Job summary

The Barn Owl at Blacknest, part of Brunning & Price, is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and work closely with the Head Chef. You’ll lead daily kitchen operations, ensure superb food quality and presentation, and help drive a lively, guest-focused dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level is essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team to maintain standards of food quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure excellent service and consistent dining experiences.
• Help drive menu development with seasonal dishes.
