Job summary

The Carnarvon Arms in Newbury is recruiting a talented Sous Chef to join our pub, restaurant and hotel team. You will work under the Head Chef to create fresh, quality dishes and daily specials while leading a motivated kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior CDP seeking next step.
• Leadership and team development skills.
• Hands-on chef with strong communication.
• Experience managing kitchen rota, training, and health and safety.
• Creative input for new dishes and daily specials.
• Strong planning and organisational skills for GP and labour controls.
• Pro-active in driving sales with kitchen and front of house collaboration.
