Amberley Castle in West Sussex is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join a busy kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef to craft exciting dishes for our guests. You will uphold high standards of safety and presentation in a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar kitchen environment.
• Ability to work flexibly with rotas.
• Experience in managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Maintain allergen matrices to keep guests safe.
• Keep up-to-date allergen training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in running a busy kitchen and creating dishes.
• Write the allergen matrix with Head Chef.
• Order supplies and manage stock via Procure Wizard.
• Ensure food safety, labeling, and cleanliness.
• Share knowledge with junior kitchen staff.
