Amberley Castle is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support a busy kitchen in a luxury hotel setting. You will work closely with the Head Chef to prepare exciting dishes and ensure top quality for all guests.

You will manage kitchen operations, supervise junior staff, and uphold food-safety and allergen standards. The role includes ensuring robust ordering processes and contributing to a cohesive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef in a hotel/kitchen environment.
• Experience with allergen controls and food safety practices.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in running a busy kitchen.
• Take charge in Head Chef's absence.
• Order and manage stock using Procure Wizard.
• Develop and maintain allergen matrices to keep guests safe.
