Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Sous Chef for HMP Bullingdon in Bicester. You will lead kitchen operations, supervise inmates, and ensure meals are prepared to a fixed menu while maintaining cleanliness and stock controls. The role requires legal right to work in the UK and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory skills.
• Relevant culinary qualification.
• Experience working in a large-scale kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver meals 3 times a day. You will be supervising and assisting enhanced inmates in the kitchen unit.
• Be responsible for the preparation of basic quality foods within a set pre-ordered menu.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy and all stock checks are conducted correctly.
• Fill in all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms.
• Be an excellent team player and be able to deal with conflict if it arises.
• Undertake relevant training as required.
