Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a committed Chef to join the team at IRC Campsfield, Kidlington. The role involves preparing and cooking quality meals from a fixed menu, while guiding prisoner workers and ensuring recipes and hygiene standards are followed.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a 36-hour week and weekend shifts, offering work-life balance in a unique setting. Candidates must have residency in the UK for at least 5 years, the legal right to work, and be able to pass security vetting

• Previous chef experience and a passion for great food

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking quality food from a set pre-ordered menu
• Collaborating with prisoner workforces, guiding and supporting them in culinary tasks
• Ensuring food is produced efficiently and in line with recipe sheets
• Completing kitchen paperwork and due diligence
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Being an effective team player with the confidence to manage conflict if needed
